The National Indigenous Radio Service (NIRS) is a national satellite company that is owned and operated by Indigenous radio stations throughout Australia.
Stations throughout the network provide programs and the central hub in Brisbane provides switching from one program to another so that a national system gets a sample of programmes from capital city, regional and remote Australia, according to a national schedule.
NIRS also provides technical assistance to stations, a full translation service and coordinates advertising/sponsorship campaigns booked by government and private enterprise.

TEABBA MEDIA SERVICES
TEABBA Media Services, is a Not for Profit organisation which Project Objectives are to provide operational support for the 29 remote Indigenous broadcasting units in Aboriginal communities across the Top End of Australia. These Units are called Remote Indigenous Broadcasting Service (RIBS). These units house the radio and television electronic equipment.
These services are available through a satellite system. Most RIBS have an operator who does local radio shows in their community. These shows are often in language, relaying community announcements, interviewing visiting Government departments, weather and involving the school children.

Waringarri Radio - The Local Aboriginal Voice of the North East Kimberley, broadcasting 24 hours per day from Kununurra to Kalumburu, Wyndham, Warmun, Argyle Diamond Mine and all surrounding communities and cattle stations, including the Northern Territory.
